Did You Know? Neat Facts About Spalding Library

The library has over 60 databases for locating articles many of them have the complete article.

The library has over 100,000 titles.

Librarians are available to assist you whenever the library is open and are information professionals so stop by the reference desk with any questions you have about research and related topics like citation, location of departments, your professor's phone number, etc. We are here to help so stop by and see us anytime!

The library can request books and articles from other libraries all across the country and have them for you in about a week. Just click on ILL Request on the databases or for books use the Document Delivery section on the Library Home Page at www.spalding.edu/library.

National Information Literacy Month

President Obama has declared October National Information Literacy Month. Do you know what information literacy is? It is the ability to determine when you have an information need, locate needed information, evaluate the information, and use the information effectively. These skills all involve reading, using the library, conducting research, and writing. The library, the Academic Resource Center, and the Writing Center are all located here in the library and are able to assist you in these areas. Contact them today.
